The area around Osaka's main train station is called Umeda. It has lots of tall buildings and miles and miles of underground shopping and eating concourses. It's no wonder that Misterpiggy hasn't surfaced for days. Actually it is very easy to get lost here and it is a long walk to get to your destination.
It took Misterpiggy quite awhile to find the right route to the Shin-Umeda Sky building and floating garden. By the time he found it, it was cold, blustery and dark. Not sure why they call it a floating garden as it is basically an outdoor observation area joining two buildings. No foliage to be seen anywhere. But the night views of the Umeda skyline were very nice. Don't forget to click on the pictures to get a bigger view!
Afterwards, Misterpiggy made a new friend, his name is Domo-kun, and he wanted to join Misterpiggy on his ongoing adventures.
